We recommend using GeoTrust Standard DV certificate when you need to obtaining the certificate quickly. It is commonly used for intranet, internal corporate systems or in smaller web projects where verification of the company (for which the TLS certificate was issued) is not neccessary. It can secure up to 250 domains on an unlimited number of servers.
If you need a higher trust and authentization, we recommend using EV certificate (Extended Validation) or OV certificate (Organization Validation).

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The Wildcard certificate secures all subdomains at the position of the asterisk. Typically, third-level subdomains are secured using a Wildcard. For example, a certificate for *.zoner.com secures the subdomains mail.zoner.com, shop.zoner.com and others.
If the Wildcard certificate is issued in the form of a 3L domain *.zoner.com, it secures the 2L domain zoner.com as well. If the asterisk is placed on a lower-level domain, the same applies and the parent domain will be included in the certificate.
For a Wildcard certificate, the CSR is created for the domain including the asterisk, for example *.zoner.com. The asterisk represents future subdomains, of which there can be an unlimited number.
You can create the CSR directly in your SSLmarket order, so you can save time. The CSR is generated correctly for the given order.
The GeoTrust Standard DV certificate supports full FQDN SANs as well as Wildcards. It is not restricted by subdomains such as the QuickSSL was.
After placing the certificate order, a payment request is sent to the selected billing email. Once we receive your payment, the tax receipt will also be sent to this billing email address.

A trustworthy certificate is ensured by its connection to the Intermediate authority certificates in the so-called chain of trust. A frequent trust error is the missing Intermediate certificates on the server, resulting in a customer's browser warning about an unknown SSL/TLS certificate issuer. After Intermediate certificates have been added to the server, the problem is fixed.
