We recommend using GeoTrust Standard DV certificate when you need to obtaining the certificate quickly. It is commonly used for intranet, internal corporate systems or in smaller web projects where verification of the company (for which the TLS certificate was issued) is not neccessary. It can secure up to 250 domains on an unlimited number of servers.
If you need a higher trust and authentization, we recommend using EV certificate (Extended Validation) or  OV certificate (Organization Validation).

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

The GeoTrust Standard DV certificate supports full FQDN SANs as well as Wildcards. It is not restricted by subdomains such as the QuickSSL was.
After placing the certificate order, a payment request is sent to the selected billing email. Once we receive your payment, the tax receipt will also be sent to this billing email address.

A trustworthy certificate is ensured by its connection to the Intermediate authority certificates in the so-called chain of trust. A frequent trust error is the missing Intermediate certificates on the server, resulting in a customer’s browser warning about an unknown SSL/TLS certificate issuer. After Intermediate certificates have been added to the server, the problem is fixed.
